Saint Chrysostom's, Manchester
A welcoming, inclusive and caring faith community that embraces diversity and celebrates the joy of Christ

WELCOME TO ST CHRYSOSTOM'S WEBSITE

Saint Chrysostom's welcomes all people of all ages.
We are a culturally diverse, and inclusive Anglican (Church of England) church
at the heart of our community in south Manchester, not far from the city centre,
close to Manchester University.

Explore this site to find out more about us, our church, our worship,
our fellowship, our Catholic tradition, St John Chrysostom, and much more.

St Chrysostom's welcomes all people regardless of ethnicity, age,
relationship status, disability or sexual orientation,
and regardless of how much or how little faith people have.

We're a fun, tolerant and caring community, where people make friends.
We have a long tradition of reaching out to,
and welcoming, the marginalised and
the alienated, as well as inactive Christians.

We are an Anglo Catholic church, that is, one with a strong emphasis on worship,
prayer, pastoral care, friendship and outreach.

Bishop Nigel, our Bishop, has described us as
"one of the most diverse and stimulating churches in the diocese"
