The Mass is the focal point of our Christian life and
worship at St Chrysostom's. Holy Mass is celebrated in
church most days of the years.
Daily Office
Morning Prayer is usually said
9.30am Monday to Friday.
Confessions are heard immediately following Mass on
Thursday evenings, or by appointment.
Confession times before Christmas and Easter are
given on the newsletter, or can be arranged by
appointment.
Children are very welcome at Worship. We have a
children's space - which can also act as a 'breakout'
space for children and carers. We also have special
events for children. Kharis, our Sunday School for 5-11
year olds meets during the Sunday 11am Mass in term
time.
We have a small Fresh Expression of Church. We
call it Munamato. It's at St Chrysostom's Primary
School, during school term time and is a special time to
explore spirituality and prayer for any children at the
School, parents or teachers who would like to join us.
Another Fresh Expression is on the First Saturday of the
month at 5.30pm when St Chrysostom's hosts
Communion, an initiative of Manchester Diocese and
St Chrysostom's. This is Holy Eucharist with a special
invitation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and
Transgendered people, their families and friends.
