PARISH MASS (Holy Communion) at 11am on Sundays is our main act of worship.

The Sunday Mass forms and focuses the Christian Community at St Chrysostom's.

It is a joyful time. We enjoy using colour, music, incense and bells in our worship to make it a real celebration in which all have
a part. Mass is a special, joyful occasion, in which we hear together the Word of God in the Scriptures, receive of God's love
and grace in the Blessed Sacrament, and share God's love in our Christian fellowship.

The Mass is in modern language, with hymns and songs from a variety of times and places. We use the Common Worship
order of the Church of England, supplemented by material from other Western Catholic sources.

There are lots of ways people can get involved - as altar servers, readers, eucharistic ministers, helping with prayers.
Most importantly people are involved by worshipping week by week.

After Mass tea is served and we are invited to stay to meet one another.

Sunday Evenings at 6.30pm are a peaceful and reflective time of worship, drawing on a variety of traditions. Usually Sunday
evening worship is said in the Chancel of the church, with subdued lighting. During Lent the Stations of the Cross are often
followed, or another Lenten act of worship used. During Eastertide and at major festivals Evening Prayer includes Benediction
of the Blessed Sacrament.

On Sundays Morning Prayer (from the Divine Office) is said in the Anson Chapel at 10am.
