Confirmation
Quote from baptism service......

We welcome all who come for baptism - babies, children and adults.
The day of baptism is a special day, a day of celebration for families
and for the church.

Through Baptism we enter the Christian Church, and so Baptism is
usually celebrated at our main Sunday worship - the 11am Sunday
Mass.

To arrange a baptism please contact the church office to discuss a
date. We then ask you to collect an application form after Sunday
mass. We either collect the form from you before the baptism day, or
ask you to return it at a preparation meeting to which godparents and
parents /carers are invited.
Quote re- Confirmation:

At Confirmation we affirm for ourselves the faith which was stated on
our behalf at Baptism. A Bishop lays hands on the confirmand and
anoints them with sacred chrism, praying that the Holy Spirit will come
upon them. Confirmation is a Sacrament of the Church, a special
moment in the life of the individual and of the church.

Young people (aged 11 - 16) attend a confirmation group usually led
by one of the clergy, to prepare them for the sacrament. They are
usually also allocated a sponsor from the congregation to support
them.

Those over 16 are usually prepared individually, according to their
needs and circumstances.
