WHAT DO THE SISTERS DO?

Each day of the year, we spend time in quiet prayer and reflection and hold before God the
needs of the people we encounter during the day, especially if they have
asked for our prayers.  We also spend time studying the Bible.

We aim to make our house a place of hospitality where all are welcome.  The house has a
large garden, and we try to encourage wildlife and make it pleasant for those who pass by.

Each week therefore, involves the normal round of housework and gardening.

We are keen to join in the life of this very diverse local community, and a daily visit to the
local shops gives us the opportunity to meet our neighbours and have many an unexpected
conversation!

During the course of the week, we volunteer in the parish's primary schools, and are
assisting with a conversation group for mothers of children at St John's School.

We join in with parish activities, along with hosting some events at St John's Rectory.  This
year we had a very enjoyable bonfire party!
