Some features of the Church building include • A wonderful sense of space and height - almost basilica like proportions. • Notable Burlison and Grylls stained glass windows, many depicting Saints of England • In a window above the altar a window of St Chrysostom depicts the saint holding the church. • The Stations of the Cross contemporary with the building. • The distinctive reredos painting of the Crucifixion by the Leeds artist Graeme Wilson • The outstanding Hill organ dating from 1904 • The Anson Chapel (to the right of the main altar) designed by P. A. Robson in a 15th century English Gothic Style. • The Anson Chapel contains the Victoria Park War Memorial, and a wonderful variety of Angels • Walter Pearce windows and the Art Deco roundel window in the Anson Chapel • Notable oak panelling in the apse and in the Anson Chapel |
